 Ingredients for Mushroom Chicken with Garlic and Parmesan.


 1 lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts - Because the sauce is so rich, I enjoy using lighter chicken breasts, but you can use boneless, skinless chicken thighs if you prefer!

 ½ teaspoon each, salt and pepper - Or to taste!


 2 tablespoons olive oil - I prefer extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) to saute chicken breasts and mushrooms.


 8 ounces mushrooms - I like to use white or cremini (baby bella) mushrooms in this recipe. Mushrooms should be cleaned and cut into slices (see tips and recipe notes).

 - A cup of butter

 - ¼ cup is equivalent to 4 tablespoons or half a stick of butter!

 - 1 tsp Garlic - You must mince the garlic for this recipe! For your information

 1 teaspoon minced garlic (about 1 large clove)

 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour - the flour will thicken our sauce to make it super creamy! (See Alternatives to Gluten-Free Thickener)

  - 1 cup chicken broth - part of our sauce will be chicken broth! Use your favorite homemade broth

 - 1 cup heavy cream - heavy whipping cream makes the sauce extra creamy and luxuriously rich! You can use milk or half and half if you want the sauce to be a little lighter.

 - 1 cup Parmesan Cheese - Parmesan has to be grated for this recipe! I like to use good quality aged Parmesan when I can - the flavor is unparalleled!


 Seasoning - For this recipe, you will use


 - ½ teaspoon each garlic powder, onion powder and salt.


  You will also use 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper!

 - 1 cup baby spinach - Spinach leaves make this dish a complete meal! You want the spinach to be well washed and roughly chopped


Step by step instructions


 My Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mushroom Chicken is a delicious meal that s ready quickly! Lee s easy-to-follow directions will help you make this meal perfect.


 1 Prepare the chicken.

 First, start by patting on


 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pat dry and trim any excess fat as needed.


  Next, season both sides of the chicken with ½ teaspoon each of salt and pepper (or to taste) and set aside.

 If not already done, wash and slice 8 ounces mushrooms, mince 1 teaspoon garlic (1 clove),


 Wash and chop 1 cup baby spinach. Set these aside too, for later use.
